What Happened: During the Nor'easter, my power went out from early morning to late afternoon. Living so close to the ocean (near the Seaside Bridge) put my area at a much higher risk of flooding. The road in front of my house had begun to flood. But because I was still scheduled for work, I still had to drive through it. When I came home, I saw that my storm door had blown open due tp the extremely strong winds.

How Did it Affect You: The experience made me feel a bit scared because I had never experienced a weather event like that before or lost power for that long.

Did The Experience Change How You Think About Flooding: Yes. Since I was scared by just a small amount of flooding, it opened my eyes to how people that experienced much worse flooding must feel.
