"Somerset County (Cavanaugh) cleaned out the ditch along the back of my property at 10128 Deal Island, Md but did not complete the clearing. They did not clean out the drainage ditch under Rolfe Lane that goes to the  next section of the drainage system. None of the residents along this ditch requested this clearing! Cavanaugh will not disclose who requested this clearing done by Somerset Coubty, but never completed this creating a back up of water now causing drainage issues for 5+ properties now. I have tried to get Cavanaugh to complete the clearing - at least of the pipe so water can flow out of my yard. He is not responding to me! This is a major concern and is getting worse. Please someone needs to correct this ASAP as my drain field is in danger. This ditch system runs from the Deal Island Fire Station to Hotel Road and under Deal Island Road out to the Sound. We are having major flooding problems since this ditch was cleared and now my back yard is the low point of my section of this drainage system that has NOT BEEN CLEANED OUT for over 30 years according to long time residents here."
