"Deal Island road from the Deal Island Bridge to 10178 Deal Island Rd was flooded from the bay all the way to the residences on the other side for days. Hotel Rd was completely impassable for nearly a week due to flooding. The main island drainage dishes on both sides of Deal Island Rd along residences are completely full of dirt and do not drain at all. They haven’t been cleaned out apparently for 17 years! This flooding all the way from the bay across to residences on the opposite side were completely flooded and froze over. No low lying vehicles could get off the island due to the flooding at the w bridge Also, once flooding on the road cleared, it stayed black ice covered! The residencies stayed flooded for many days!"
