"This boat has been an issue in Lucy Creek since post Hurricane Matthew. It is currently located just south of the HIghway 802 bridge connecting Lady's and Coosaw Islands and is sitting on oyster beds adjacent to a derelict dock on Coosaw Island, the 7th dock south of the bridge on Lucy Creek. The boat has broken loose from its anchor several times and ends up on the oyster beds for weeks at a time. When it is afloat and anchored it appears that there is water in the hull as the boat sits below its water line. There may be some danger that it will sink.
This boat has been reported to MyCoast in the past as being abandoned in this same area of Lucy Creek. Report on 3/20/18 states that the registration numbers appear to be altered with tape so they may not prove to be useful for investigation. This is an ongoing issue."
