"This report supplements the report I submitted on March 15, 2018, regarding a motorboat adrift (and now mostly aground in the marsh) in Lucy Creek, about a half mile south of the Sam's Point bridge, between Lady's Island and Coosaw Island. At that time I did not have the name or registration number, both of which are now shown in attached photographs. The registration number appears to have been doctored from SC 3174 CE with black tape. Not quite readable in the photographs is the home port of Beaufort, SC. "Mutual Fun III" has been drifting back and forth across Lucy Creek for weeks, and is now mostly aground off Goat Island. It has no lights and before breaking free of its mooring, was unattended since just after Hurrican Matthew in 2016. This boat is destroying oyster beds and marsh as it drifts around, is a navigation hazard, and needs to be removed."
