"The nests of the endangered Saltmarsh Sparrow are inundated by the King Tide. (See the red arrows pointing to three nest locations.) This species has successfully built its nests 2 cm above the ground in marshes for millennia, but it now is on the brink of extinction- due to rising sea levels."
