Normally we take pictures from our cliff, overlooking the same beach albeit a short distance north. Today we were conducting a program on pond monitoring, collecting macroinvertebrates, testing for conductivity/salinity and TDS and so, from a dune on the main beach took this picture. The tide came in as close to the beach trail as it ever has – without an extra storm push or inclement weather. Good signs on this beach include a rapid spread of seagrass planted in restored dunes following the trio of March storms that hit coastal Massachusetts three years ago.
