    Hi Glynnis, Thank you for continuing to keep such a close eye on your local shore. Your findings are sure helpful, as are the great photos & caliper shots that you include. It looks to me like it was about 69mm and didn’t have an abdomen present on the underside to be able to sex it, but let me know if I’ve gotten that wrong from your report. It also looks like where you were searching is by a stream mouth. Do you remember if you found that molt on the beach side or the stream side of the berm?
