Hi Jamie, thanks for taking the time to keep an eye out for molts! You found a small fragment of a native red rock crab back when you were walking the beach in early June. I know it’s long past at this point, but I wanted to write to let you know that we do look at each report and try to get any ID questions answered punctually, but we’ve been burdened with some issues on the backend this summer. We’re finally able to comment directly again on reports like these in a more timely manner. So thanks for keeping ’em coming and glad to have you keeping an eye on local beaches with us! – Lisa
