Type: Other
Type description: Jeep Compass SUV -
Construction material: Unspecified
Debris source: This SUV on 4/19/24 apx 11pm drove onto the beach and got stuck in this spot. It sits on the beach in parcel 1123039008 of King County. Address is 3525 SW SEOLA LN 98146. Seattle Police and Dept Ecology came 4/20 & removed the fluids. Since then it is falling apart as each high tide engulfs it. The hood is loose now & the bumper is up in the driftwood. A tow truck cannot get to it because of it's location & a barge is probably not viable due to the shallow natrue of the spot.
Ownership: BAKKER, SIMON+SARIE - go to the King Co Parcel viewer and with above parcel number you will see the owners land and tide flat property profile.

"There seems to be a lot of finger pointing. The City of Seattle won't do anything because it is on private property. Owners are unhappy and think the car owner claims the car was stolen. How do we get this off the beach and the parts that are floating away & polluting the Puget Sound?"
