  • Overwashed beach/dune

Comments: Documenting the natural process of overwash from nor'easter Sandy 2012. The surge was so high here, the beach was overtopped creating overwash fans especially at the east end where the dune height is low. No significant foredune erosion as was the case in Hurricane Irene of 2011.
