    Thanks for sharing this extra, interesting observation on patterns in dead shore crab that you’ve noticed, Catherine. It could be an indication of heat stress from getting caught in shallow waters at low-tide, or in very large groups, sometimes points to toxic algal blooms. It’s certainly something to keep an eye on to see what information may be gleaned over time!
