Specific response: The City used cones to block off one end of West Street at Beach St intersection and a city truck to block the other end of West St near the entrance to West Beach.

"Waves were splashing over and into the dirt parking lot, water was running off the surface of the parking lot, through drains and into West St into the storm drain. Despite the wave and mist, a few cars were parked in the lot to watch the storm activity."
