Hi Eleanor and thanks for the report. That vessel looks like its been there awhile and when I check our database… we do not have a vessel in that location. I’ll send you report to the Port of Bellingham to see if they are aware of it. Numbers and name of the vessel would be great and perhaps they could obtain those. Thanks again.
Hi Jerry- I am sorry I was reporting that from my kayak and my screen kept getting wet/hands were cold so it was hard to fill out the report. I tried to see if I could see a name, but it’s really covered in algae and I couldn’t see anything. Someone I mentioned it too later asked if it was the same one that had been by the Community Boating Center which is just around the corner (about 1/4 mile away) from this vessel, but no one seemed to know. I’ll see if I can get out at a low tide and investigate more and will report back if I’m able to get more info.
I chatted with someone from the Port and sounds like they are aware of it, plus another nearby the same dock. It sounds like the commission has approved the grant submittal to remove both.
