Debris source: The first photo shows a huge piece of styrofoam covered in Pelagic Gooseneck Barnacles and wrapped in a long rope. It must have floated in from far away. The second photo shows several objects, including some styrofoam. The third photo is not styrofoam-- it shows four of the dozens of large floats that washed up from fishing boats.
Ownership: This is National Park property.

"The first photo shows one example of many large pieces of styrofoam all over the driftwood on the beach above the high tide line. This was one of a few with the Pelagic Gooseneck Barnacles. The beach is littered with plastic bottles, tires, floats, styrofoam, and pieces of plastic. The second photo shows more styrofoam in the center, along with a large, plastic blue barrel, and a long piece of wood filled with metal pieces. As mentioned above the third shows just four of the large fishing floats washed ashore. Many are > 2' diameter."
