The boat has been reported to DNR and was tagged on the 23rd of January, 2019. The WN is not visible but we were able to identify the owner using the decal number. WN 648 BD.
This vessel has repeatedly exceeded the anchorage law in Liberty Bay over multiple years. This vessel was yellow until 2019 and the owner has painted over the WN numbers several times. It has been tagged by DNR and the owner has been contacted multiple times, yet refuses to move or sign letters of notification. This vessel occasionally vacates Liberty Bay, yet always comes back. It meets the definition of abandoned since owner refuses to take control or comply with state law.
