The owner is known to the USCG and DNR given the vessel's grounding earlier this week. The vessel was towed from Tracyton ... and left in the open fairway in Liberty Bay off Virginia Point towards Lemolo on approximately 400' of mooring line that floats and randomly gathers during tidal changes. The vessel is unlit and unmarked. Yesterday, at approximately 1800, and inbound Bayliner 4788 ran afoul of the floating anchor rode ... reportedly catching the line up in its propellors/shafts.
