Hi Kevin! Thanks for doing a timed Molt Search the other week! I see you’ve noted you found 1 dungeness, but in your photo I actually see one lovely red rock crab, with it’s long rostrum (between the eyes) and widest point at the 9th tooth, unlike dungeness which have a distinct, pointy final tenth tooth marking the widest point of its shell. I’ve adjusted your total to reflect this new ID. It’s a valuable report knowing you found zero green crab, so thank you for taking the time out there! Happy Searching!
