Relatively substantial sections of overwashedd barrier beach approx/ 1/2 mile north of the new inlet that formed last year during storm on Feb 2013. Beach south of the new inlet also appears heavily overwashed. Overwashed areas are directly opposite (east) of the Monomoy Refuge headquarters. No new inlets appear to have formed.
