King Tide Report by Joan Schrammeck
Camano, WA
"Erosion from yesterday's storm surge during king tide - Scenic Ave street end, Camano Island. Erosion is seen as a drop off where there had been a gradual slope, the drop now starts about 3 feet south of where it as before the Nov 15,, 2021 storm, and at least 1to 1.5 foot further south than before yesterday's storm. The storm caused erosion that appears now as a drop-off. If this portion of the street end isn't raised, a future high wind high wave storm will bring water over Scenic Ave to Maple Grove Rd to the south which is lower and therefore will be a new source of neighborhood flooding."
