Additional Information: 10-12 ADVs are located at a residential pier in various states of disrepair on the Elizabeth River at 800 Le Cove Dr. Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Two vessels have sunk below the waterline to the North and South; several more are derelict and sunk, but resting aground. Jefferson Ghent (cell: 757.650.1639) owns the property. Jefferson Ghent explained that his brother Less Ghent lives on the property and “is responsible for the vessels”, but Less is not the legal vessel owner. Jefferson declined VDRF’s no-cost offer of removal and disposal assistance and believes the vessels are not breaking any laws or ordinances in their current state.
