Additional Information: This vessel has been docked in disrepair in Whatcom Lake for years. It sank sometime this winter or spring. I noticed that it sank when I went for my first swim in the lake, earlier this summer. There is no visible sheening at this time but there is a poorly executed attempt at creating an absorbent perimeter (or semi-perimeter, in this case) that indicates that there may have been sheening. Lake Whatcom is Bellingham's source for drinking water.

Hi Rachael. We have this entered in our database as DVRP # WC26-009 and last report was that the owner will be removing it from the water in the next month or so once water level drops. The department of Health and Ecology have been involved too.
