Hi Owen, Thanks for taking the time to do a timed survey. The crab pictured is actually a red rock crab, distinguished by the area between its eyes (“rostrum”) protruding out, unlike Dungeness and graceful crabs which have a rostrum that’s even with their eyes. It’s marginal teeth make the red rock crab look almost like an empanada, unlike the other two which have smaller, sharper points.
