Additional Information: Anne Arundel County Maryland - There is a 24' +/- sailboat abandoned in Cheston Creek at the mouth of West River about 500 yards north of day marker #3. It has been anchored there since before August, but has now washed ashore on a salt marsh on property owned by Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. This vessel was reported as abandoned to the Department of Natural Resources Marine Police and they investigated it in August, while it was still anchored and afloat, but no further activity has taken place.
