What a creative way to “collect” your molts, Alice! Thanks for the extra time to label the photos so well. To fill in the gaps for you on those two question mark crabs: You had one red rock crab (the one in the center with 10 marginal teeth that make it look a bit like an empanada and a strong, protruding rostrum between the eyes) and one purple shore crab, with 3 rounded marginal teeth, a squarish shape, and polka dots on the claws. One other note is that the cancer crab in the top left photo is actually a graceful crab instead of a dungeness, as distinguished by the notch located just beyond its widest 9th tooth.
