Thanks so much for taking the time to do a Molt Search while you were walking the shore, Brian! Getting those shores near the farthest south detection at Cultus Bay monitored is a high priority for us this year, so your efforts there are highly valuable. You make our data check job over here so easy with such a clear photo & something in there for scale. I’ve updated your report to match the collection in your photo: Only one Dungeness with it’s wide final 10th tooth (and two red rock crabs, including that smaller one with their protruding rostrum between the eyes like the brim of a ball cap and more “empanada” like marginal teeth. Plus a purple shore crab!). So grateful to have you part of these efforts with us! – Lisa

  • Thanks for the feedback 🙂 I appreciate your efforts and as an unemployed fisheries biologist, I appreciate the mission!
